On Thursday, police went to the 1000 block of N. Coltrane Road in reference to someone taking a trailer, tractor and brush-hogging equipment, according to a report filed by Edmond Police Officer John Zeigler. Unknown suspects broke a lock that was securing a door and entered a barn on the property, police said. While inside, they moved the tractor and attachment outside, then loaded it onto a trailer and left the area through a gate. The trailer had been hooked up to another truck on the property. A 1992 Ford diesel tractor worth $4,500, a homemade white 20-foot, two-axle trailer with loading ramps and a steel deck worth $2,000 and a brush hog attachment, a five-foot box worth $400, were missing.
