Cushing Bank Robbery Suspect
Event Details:
Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a Cushing bank.
Around 2:48 p.m. on Monday, July 31, a white man, approximately 20 years old, walked into the Bank of Cushing.
The suspect, who was wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses, a long-sleeve blue shirt, blue jeans and brown cowboy boots, handed the teller a note, demanding money.

Cushing- On Tuesday August 22, 2017 just prior to 6:00 pm, Cushing Police Officers’ Rachel Hentges and Alex Gegen, took Cushing resident Lucien Brown, into custody on a Federal Complaint of Bank Robbery. Brown was transported to the Cushing Police Department, where he was later interviewed by a Federal Agent. Following the interview, Brown was transported to the Payne County jail and later turned over to the U.S. Marshalls Service.
“The arrest came as a result of citizens and law enforcement working together”, Chief Folden said. “I would like to thank, members of the FBI, Cushing Police Department, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and Payne County Sheriff’s Department for their countless hours given, thus far, during these investigations”, Chief Folden said.
While an arrest has been made in connection to both robberies, these cases remain under investigation.
