Edmond pharmacy reports burglary

Officers discovered the burglary about 4:58 a.m. Monday when the alarm sounded after the front door of the pharmacy had been shattered. No one was found inside the pharmacy, according to a police report released Tuesday. Hydrocodone and Lortab were the types of pills stolen. Three full bottles with 500 hydrocodone pills each and three partial bottles of the same drug were stolen. A 500-pill bottle of Lortab and partial bottle also were taken. The pills were valued at $685. Damage to the door was estimated at $400. The owner told police two pistols on the counter next to the cash registers were not disturbed, the report states.
